In addition to genetic testing, all our parent dogs are tested through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for hips, elbows, cardiac health, and eyes. These evaluations are critical in identifying and reducing the risk of inherited conditions that can affect a dog’s quality of life.
At Em and El Doodles, we are committed to raising healthy, happy Goldendoodles. That’s why we use Embark Vet’s advanced DNA testing for all our parent dogs. This testing screens for breed-specific genetic health conditions and over 215 disease-related genetic variants.
